Is BioForge playable offline?
Yes. BioForge v1 is designed to work offline.
Does BioForge require an account?
No. BioForge does not require sign-in.
Does BioForge include ads or in-app purchases?
No. The v1 launch scope has no ads, no in-app purchases, and no monetization.
How is progress saved?
Progress is saved locally on your device with UserDefaults. This includes stages, coins, upgrades, Codex states, and settings.
Can I reset progress?
Yes. Open Settings from the main hub and use Reset Progress.
Why did my run pause?
BioForge pauses active runs when the app is backgrounded or interrupted. Coins and permanent progress collected so far are saved immediately.
What biology topics are included?
BioForge introduces concepts such as flagella, mitochondria, cell walls, toxins, chemotaxis, ribosomes, enzymes, viruses, antibiotics, osmosis, and more through gameplay and Codex entries.
Is BioForge a full biology curriculum?
No. BioForge is an educational game, not a replacement for a textbook, classroom instruction, or professional scientific guidance.
